This was DPR's first project at Mercy Hospital. This 6,850-sq.-ft. interior renovation at the Bayside Pavilion—a medical office building within the hospital campus—involved three phases. The phasing program allowed the radiology staff to continue operations on the third floor where the floor renovation occured.
The team worked meticulously to coordinate each phase with the end users to ensure that the staff and patients were not disturbed by the construction operations. Each of the phases included complete interior demolition, new MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) services for the nuclear medicine equipment and X-ray equipment, and interior finishes. The CT Scan remained operational throughout the entire duration of the project, which was a huge success for the team.
DPR's SPW (Self-Perform Work) team completed the acoustical ceilings, drywall and doors.
