What We Build Hospitality
Delivering more than just a hotel
DPR’s hospitality teams build projects large and small, including upscale full-service and world-class luxury hotels and resorts. From resorts that are destinations unto themselves to urban high-rises to complex renovations, DPR has earned its reputation as a top hospitality and hotel construction company by always viewing our projects through the owner’s eyes.
Your Brand Is a Promise
We’ve built everything from unique boutique hotels to major-brand properties for Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, IHG and others. Our hospitality teams understand the complexities of hotel construction—from detailed brand standards and specific owner requirements to the expectations of a flawless guest experience. This expertise enables our project managers to develop accurate master schedules that reflect the milestones and nuances unique to hospitality projects.

What Does This Mean For you?
It means having a partner that shares your goals. We go beyond just delivering a hotel or hospitality building. It’s about helping our customers make strategic decisions that streamline operations, improve guest experience and keep the hotel competitive in the market. DPR understands how a hotel opens and operates beyond its construction—it’s what sets us apart from the competition.

A Holistic Approach
At DPR, we go “all in” from day one on hospitality projects—aligning with all stakeholders early to prevent delays and ensure a smooth path to completion. We rigorously evaluate each hotel project phase to deliver safely, on time, on budget, and with exceptional quality, culminating in a seamless turnover that sets the owner/operator up for a successful grand opening.
Key practices include building model rooms during design to confirm design intent, resolve coordination issues, and establish clear quality benchmarks. We also strongly advocate for prefabricated solutions, especially bathroom pods, where they add value and efficiency.
Finally, we maintain a laser focus on coordinated installation of food and beverage spaces, amenity areas, and all FF&E—critical elements to achieving a high-quality, fully functional hospitality project at turnover.

Efficiency and Quality Self-Performing
As a self-performing technical builder, DPR brings a unique ability to deliver multiple scopes of work including concrete structure, framing and drywall, doors and hardware, specialties and FF&E services. Our well-trained self-perform crews help us deliver a higher quality product as well as cost and schedule predictability.

Efficiency and Quality Prefabrication
Prefabrication isn’t right for every hospitality project, but as industry leaders, we can help guide customers with recommendations on the best approach to prefabrication. Whether it is exterior skin panels or prefabricated bathroom pods, our team of experts focuses on prefabricated solutions specific to hotel construction projects. Additionally, our approach prioritizes cost and scheduling predictability, technology, and safety and security, while creating functional, comfortable spaces for owners and their guests.

You want a hospitality contractor that offers both design and building expertise. We do both, creating tailored solutions for properties ranging from full-service hotels with all the amenities, to dual-branded hotels that meet the needs of two different guest profiles, to boutique hotels focused on offering a unique guest experience rather than a cookie-cutter approach.
We align with customers and their hotel design vision to deliver properties that make memorable experiences. With a focus on efficiency and predictable delivery, we provide solutions throughout the project lifecycle—from prefabrication to technical expertise ready for any end user—with ready-to-deploy craft teams that ensure seamless delivery to transform vision into revenue-generating spaces.
