Digital Realty 1725 Comstock Data Center | Santa Clara, California

At completion, this project marked the fourth data center DPR has built for Digital Realty in Santa Clara, California. This design/build effort in an existing 40,000-sq.-ft. building boasts 23,000-sq.-ft. of raised floor space with a density of 150 watts/sq.-ft. and a Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) of 1.3 at full load. The critical load capacity is 3.375 MW and the facility is cooled with a 130-ton Tran Intellipak packaged air handling unit (AHU).

Looking for a cost saving and innovative way to provide the client a quicker to market solution, the electrical room skids with UPS modules and switchgear were fabricated in Texas, then shipped to and installed in Santa Clara.
