Sunlight Financial Tenant Improvement

Sunlight Financial Tenant Improvement | Charlotte, NC

Continuing a relationship with Foundry Commercial, DPR was asked to perform the tenant improvement for Sunlight Financial's new space in Uptown Charlotte at 101 N Tryon Street. Work in the new space began with a complete deconstruction of the 13,000-sq.-ft. office space. DPR was able to refresh and reuse the existing doors, frames, and hardware in order to help eliminate lead time delays to the client’s aggressive schedule. Following the deconstruction, DPR built out the new open office including seven conference rooms and employee break areas. The project was fast-tracked and required work over the holidays to meet the aggressive schedule.

Project Scope

DPR self-performed the deconstruction, framing, drywall, finishing, acoustical ceilings, and door refresh scopes of work. Working within this older building posed challenges including a tight loading dock, existing condition code issues, and failing existing infrastructure. DPR was able to identify and correct these issues with minimal cost and no schedule impact. Minimal staging and laydown areas required lean “just in time” material delivery coordination between DPR and our trade partners.
