Serta Simmons Bedding, the nation's largest mattress company, combined all of their company’s locations into a new headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia. The new headquarters is located on a five-acre site as part of the redevelopment of the 165-acre Doraville General Motors plant, renamed Assembly. It launched the first phase of the redevelopment of the well-known GM site.

The $30M project consists of a 145,000-sq.-ft. office (core and shell), 70,000-sq.-ft. manufacturing/showroom facility and a 500-space precast parking deck. The project required collaboration with multiple agencies including City of Doraville, MARTA, and the FAA to name a few.

Pursuit: From business development to estimating, the Project Quartz pursuit was another successful "All In" targeted win! The opportunity was coined "Project Quartz" due to the confidentiality of the tenant. In fact, we didn't find out who the tenant would be until the final stages of the pursuit. With the tenant unknown, DPR sold the depth of our experience in corporate headquarters and all types of manufacturing, industrial and high-bay structures.
