Confidential Pharmaceutical Customer Lab & Office Renovation

Confidential Pharmaceutical Customer Lab & Office Renovation | Cambridge, Massachusetts

DPR was selected for this two-phase, fast-track 25,000-sq.-ft. renovation of the third floor of an eight-story building for a world-renowned pharmaceutical customer. The renovation, taking place above and below occupied floors, included selective demolition of the existing laboratories and a total gut renovation of the office area. Noisy and vibration inducing work were completed during off-hours. The demoed space was then built-out for two new lab spaces and a new open-concept office space with conference and collaboration rooms, a new break space, and upgrades to the existing lavatories and circulation areas. The phased approach allowed the research to continue in selective labs while construction was ongoing.

The team worked closely with TRIA, the OPM and the client to coordinate work and minimize disruptions to the ongoing facility operations.
