Clif Bar Headquarters Phase II

Clif Bar Headquarters Phase II | Emeryville, California

Clif Bar expanded their existing space in Emeryville to incorporate an additional 31,000 sq. ft. of an adjacent attached building. This tenant improvement construction project includes a "bridge" connection at the second floor/mezzanine level, which the team was able to install over the café and through an existing kitchen. A new dumbwaiter was added in the kitchen area so the staff could easily access conference rooms in the new space. All existing interiors, except the four staircases, were demolished, revising the layout and zoning of the mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire (MEPF) systems.

The team took a lot of care during the design and construction to make sure that the spaces were contiguous.
