This project transformed the second-floor shell space of an existing medical office building into a comprehensive outpatient clinic for AdventHealth Medical Group. The build-out included 18 exams rooms, 2 OB/GYN procedure rooms, X-Ray installation, 4 nurses stations, 3 physician offices, a space for medical assistants, a work room and a scheduling office. The new space accommodates urology, cardiology, orthopedics, imaging and gynecology services, creating a modern, patient-centered environment designed to support a wide range of specialty care.
About The Project
The project scope included construction of an X-ray suite with owner-furnished imaging equipment, as well as the installation of a new two-stop elevator within an existing shaft to improve patient and staff access to the second-floor clinic. DPR also completed key self-perform work scopes, including drywall, door frames and hardware, acoustical ceiling systems and specialties, helping deliver a high-quality finished space that supports long-term operational efficiency.
It was an excellent experience working with DPR due their team’s consistent communication, responsiveness and problem-solving mindset. Any challenges or concerns throughout the project were identified and communicated early and the team brought us options for resolution – displaying a collaborative approach. The experience and construction knowledge displayed by the entire team was noteworthy.
