This phased renovation transformed the main lobby at AdventHealth Altamonte Springs into a modern, welcoming space that enhances the patient and visitor experience—all while maintaining uninterrupted hospital operations. The project included selective interior demolition and the installation of new architectural finishes throughout the lobby.
About The Project
The renovation introduced new reception desks, decorative wall panel systems, a custom 3form ceiling feature, terrazzo flooring and interior storefront assemblies. The completed renovation delivers an enhanced first impression while supporting the hospital's ongoing operational needs.
Executed in seven carefully coordinated phases over 12 months, the project minimized disruption to patients, visitors and hospital staff while maintaining daily operations. Each phase underwent review and approval by the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA), ensuring compliance with all healthcare facility regulations and life safety requirements.
