Lisa Lingerfelt brings a passion for operational excellence and continuous improvement, with a dose of enjoyment, to everything she does at DPR. As a member of DPR’s Leadership Team, Lisa is focused on operationalizing strategic endeavors for the organization and serves as the Leadership Team Sponsor for the Meta customer account.

An accomplished builder of large, complex, fast-paced projects and great relationships with customers and teammates, Lisa thrives on teamwork and problem-solving. She works with teams to help ensure that the customer gets DPR’s best every time. And, when it comes to integrity (her favorite DPR core value), she is relentless. Focused on doing what’s right, Lisa always works in the best interest of the projects, customers and teams by addressing issues often and early while providing clear and transparent communication on expectations, roles, responsibilities and processes.

Lisa became interested in civil engineering as a freshman at Virginia Tech before working as a co-op for two school semesters and two summers at Danis Environmental, an experience that sharpened her interest in construction. She became fascinated by the process of the built environment and loved being able to watch the construction of different components.

After earning her Bachelor's in Civil Engineering and Master's in Architecture/Building Construction, Lisa joined DPR in 2002 as a project engineer. She grew with the company, gaining experience on projects in all DPR’s core markets, as well as serving as a Business Unit Leader in the Northeast. Throughout her career, Lisa has embraced the environment and culture that encouraged her growth as a builder and a leader. She continues that legacy as she mentors the next generation of builders, helping them realize their potential. She also wants to help empower women to continue to pursue their career goals, especially those balancing their careers with family responsibilities.

Away from work, Lisa enjoys traveling with her family, which includes her husband, daughter and son, working out, and enjoying the outdoors, specifically hiking with her three dogs. Her kids inspire her every day and she would not be where she is today in her career without the support of them and her husband.
