This project consisted of the complete demolition and rebuild of approximately 32,000-sq.-ft. of support space for Willis Insurance and included two large executive conference rooms (an 18 seat and a 22 seat), a 60 seat training classroom, 15 executive offices, six huddle/team rooms, three large breakroom/café spaces, and multiple collaborative/touchdown areas.
The project was located in an occupied building; therefore, coordination was involved throughout construction to accommodate various parties. At the time of construction, renovation work to the common area and back of the house was occurring at the same time by different contractors. Our team was able to coordinate the renovations and was able to keep the construction moving on schedule.
Additionally, the project was a phased GMP. The team began construction without a final completed set of plans. Coordination with the designer and owner occurred throughout construction to finalize the plan. Through this collaborative effort, the project was able to be completed on budget.
