The project scope included research labs, support spaces, and new executive office space. The construction scope included drilled pier foundations, structural steel addition, curtain-wall systems, advanced infrastructure to support the high density of fume hoods, and renovations to existing interior spaces into new biology labs. The work was executed successfully and safely while the pharmacy building remained fully operational. This project provides the College with more than 20,000-sq.-ft. of new space and 10,000-sq.-ft. of renovated state-of-the-art facilities to ensure its growth and capacity to adapt to the dynamic and changing fields in pharmaceutical sciences.
In addition, an underground tunnel connecting two buildings and a new pharmacy museum was added to the scope of work.
