This mixed-use, multifamily development surrounds the landmark Broken Spoke dance hall in South Austin. The seven-acre, 413,057-sq.-ft. complex includes four apartment buildings totaling 393,057 sq. ft. and 378 one- and two-bedroom units and 20,000 sq. ft. of retail and restaurant space, as well as a seven-story, 485-space parking garage.
The project occupied the property immediately north and south of the Broken Spoken, which continued an uninterrupted operation during the construction period. The 704 development also included two pools, an extensive fitness center, dog run, bocce ball court, outdoor lounges, recreation and grilling areas, and a rooftop deck.
