A major goal of this project was to integrate the SurePods manufacturing facility with the office space that supports it. It needed to be built for designers, engineers, builders, and executives alike. This meant the spaces needed to be fashionable, but functional, rugged, but elegant. It’s not uncommon to have dusty work boots and pristine loafers in the same room. Some clients may try and keep those worlds separate, but this space brings them closer together. You can see that connectivity come to life with the plant support spaces within the office, multiple access points between the plant and office, and expansive windows between the open office and the plant. Further, Surepods wanted to make it clear that there are no barriers between the craft workers and the office workers. You won't see lower end finishes or a lack of comfort in any of the spaces intended to serve the craft.
Like the construction industry, Surepods is consistently evolving, and they needed a space that kept up. A 600-sq.-ft. room directly connected to the plant floor is a revolving parade of bathroom pods from their current projects, allowing clients to always see the latest and greatest of what Surepods is up to.
