QTS Data Center Upgrade & Retro-fit | Eemshaven, Netherlands

DPR’s data center project in Eemshaven, Netherlands, is putting the team’s agility to the test as they serve the customer’s evolving needs. When awarded “Project Megawatt” in April 2019, the request was to inspect, assess and repair equipment on a data center campus that had been out of operation for three years. Since then, the scope has grown to include architectural re-branding and upgrades throughout the site, including a new entrance canopy structure, an extended loading dock and front office tenant improvement. Also, re-striping to upgrade redundancy from a 2N to an N+1 system that brings 19.1MW of power. As each new scope is added, work immediately begins so that all four stages are being executed concurrently. The entire project is scheduled for substantial completion in October 2020.
