The project incorporated many challenging and diverse design elements that required attention to detail. DPR was challenged to use high precision in aligning aluminum mullions with wall reveals. The alignment of different architectural elements was prevalent throughout the design so it was extremely important that all trades were coordinated to meet the final design intent. DPR’s in-house construction technology team laser scanned the project before each element was added to ensure all elements were constructed to the right tolerances.

The owner had an aesthetic vision but undefined program for this prototype. DPR worked closely with the owner and design team to provide the most cost effective options to ensure that the owner's vision became a reality. All systems and finishes were targeted for potential to maximize value. The DPR team suggested replacing decorative glass wall panels and large format porcelain wall tile with level five finish gloss drywall with reveals; the level five finish glass dry wall kept the design while providing the owner significant cost savings.
