This relocation project included 242,000 sq. ft. of interior tenant improvements in three existing office towers, totaling 12 floors. It also included approximately 9,000 sq. ft. of dry labs, 11,000 sq. ft of server rooms, 8,300 sq. ft. of fitness center, and an 18,000-sq.-ft. café with a kitchen and dining area.
The scope also included a 13,500-sq.-ft., state-of-the-art Executive Briefing Center with high-end design elements and finishes. The Executive Briefing Center includes telepresence room (which means the use of virtual reality technology to allow participation in distant events), several conference rooms and reception area.
The project was extremely fast-tracked and had to be completed within a very compressed schedule. One of the team's solutions to the schedule challenge was to break the project into three phases due to permitting. The team completed the project within 12 weeks, which included 2 weeks of demolition as well as incorporating additional owner changes.
This project was truly an example of building smarter, faster and better.
