Erytech Cell Therapy Manufacturing Facility | Princeton, New Jersey

The Erytech's new Princeton, NJ manufacturing facility is a renovation of an existing building into a blood processing and cell therapy manufacturing and laboratory building. The project was completed in April 2019.

Project

Details

The scope includes an open office floor plan with large and small conference rooms, warehouse, shipping and holding labs, QC labs, micro lab and sixteen (16) blood processing stations located inside a 10,000-sq.-ft. ISO-7 AES modular cleanroom. Headquartered in France, Erytech will use the facility to house their manufacturing operations in the U.S. and will focus on investigative clinical trials and transition into their commercial manufacturing facility.

A Tight

Schedule

The project was completed on a tight schedule that included completing 10,000 sq. ft. of clean room suites within four months. During construction, the team was careful to coordinate the cleanroom and non-cleanroom construction activities to maintain the flow of construction. Being that this project was on the fast-track, it was imperative that the cleanroom subcontractors were able to install the suites without interruption from other trades.

Because of our early involvement with the architect, Perkins+Will, and the cleanroom vendor, AES Clean Technologies, as well as our extensive work history with both companies, DPR was able to meet Erytech’s schedule requirements for this critical project. In only an eight month project, the team made sure that the cleanrooms were qualified in time for client move-in.
