3300 Olympus Boulevard | Coppell, TX

The 315,000-sq.-ft. 3300 Olympus Office project comprises a new, ground-up, six-story cast-in-place concrete office building, an adjacent four-level parking garage, a plaza with an associated fountain, site work, and landscaping. This project includes multiple break rooms, a 100-seat conference center, workspaces, collaboration areas, a fitness center, and a two-acre park. This project is on track to receive a LEED Gold certification.

Concrete

DPR’s self-perform concrete teams erected 227,000 sq. ft. of elevated formwork, poured 230 columns, and contributed over 36,000 work hours over the summer to keep the project on track for 2023 delivery.

Originally a tilt-wall project, 3300 Olympus was delivered as a cast-in-place job after DPR determined the switch would improve schedule, logistics, and cost. With the critical schedule and tight site in mind, cast-in-place concrete delivered the project two months faster, at a lower cost by $100k, and eliminated the need for casting beds on a constrained site. Despite a labor shortage and long lead times, DPR completed the concrete scope two months early without issue, thanks to positive concrete supplier relationships and in-house self-perform capabilities.
