Justin Schmidt

Justin Schmidt’s passion for the built environment began at a young age. Helping his grandpa with the family construction business later inspired him to study civil engineering at the University of Wisconsin. Currently living in the Washington, D.C. area (while remaining a true the Green Bay Packers fan), Justin serves as DPR’s Construction Technology Lead. With the unique ability to synthesize how various technologies should work together, he is key to delivering on DPR’s collaborative project delivery approach and promise of more predictable outcomes.

From miscellaneous construction tasks as a boy, to project engineer and current DPR leader, Justin has experienced all facets of construction—from the field to the office—working on more than $2 billion of work since joining DPR in 2005.
