Annette Allen is a collaborative leader with more than 35 years of experience in the engineering and construction industry. In her role as Advanced Technology Core Market Leader: Manufacturing, she is responsible for shaping strategy and driving DPR’s portfolio within the Advanced Manufacturing sector. This includes a focus on the microelectronics/semiconductor, clean energy/battery, and aerospace/defense sub-markets. She enables customers and business units by providing best-in-class subject matter expertise, ensuring the safe and successful delivery of highly technical projects.

From the beginning, Annette has been fascinated with the entire journey from design through construction, leading her to pursue a degree in architecture. Her career began as an associate architect and it was her first field assignment, supporting a life sciences client in Puerto Rico, that re-affirmed her decision to enter this field. She has since progressed through increasing levels of responsibility in project management, account management and operational leadership across the life sciences, advanced technology and advanced manufacturing markets.

At DPR, Annette believes the business is ultimately about people and that successful projects are delivered through strong teams. She is energized by coaching and developing people, working collaboratively and leveraging collective strengths and skills of teams to deliver successful projects. The caliber, energy and passion of the people at DPR continue to impress her and reinforce her pride in being part of the company’s culture.

Outside of work, Annette enjoys hiking, biking, skiing and spending time outdoors with her husband, children and dogs.
