Founded in 2010, New York-based WeWork is changing the way people work. Entrepreneurs, freelancers, startups, small businesses, and large enterprises can find shared workspace, community, and services at one of their locations throughout the world.

WeWork Colony Square is a 44,460-sq.-ft., 3-floor renovation and build-out of an existing tenant office space in an existing high-rise office building at 1175 Peachtree St. NE (Colony Square). The project consists of full demo and build back of progressive coworking space with glass walls for privacy, inspiring common spaces, and all the comforts of traditional offices. The scope of work is limited to floors 9, 10 and 11 and includes construction of new partitions, light fixtures, power and communication fixtures, and millwork. It also includes new finishes such as carpet, wall covering and paint. Construction includes new HVAC distribution, electrical distribution, and plumbing, as well as rework of the building’s existing sprinkler system to accommodate the new project conditions.

The schedule was extremely aggressive, but DPR delivered the space to WeWork early for two of the floors, facilitating a smooth move-in process and leaving the client extremely satisfied.
