Class II Imaging Interventional Radiology Renovation – First Floor Modernization

Emory Johns Creek Hospital IR Renovation | Johns Creek, Georgia

This project consists of a Class II Imaging Interventional Radiology (IR) room renovation located on the first level of the hospital building at the Emory Johns Creek Hospital campus. The scope includes selective demolition of the existing IR suite and construction of new, modernized spaces to support interventional radiology services. The renovated program includes a dedicated IR exam room, control room and equipment storage areas, totaling approximately 1,069 square feet. The project will be executed in a single phase to streamline construction and minimize disruption.

About the Project

Structural enhancements were required within the ceiling space of the Sterile Processing Department (SPD) below to accommodate and support new IR equipment installed on the level above. Due to the critical nature of SPD operations, all structural work was carefully coordinated and implemented in multiple detailed phases to ensure continuous functionality and avoid operational impact.
