DPR Construction Dallas-Fort Worth Regional Office Expands to Meet Local Building Demand

DPR Construction, one of the nation’s top commercial contractors focused on highly complex and sustainable projects, recently announced hiring several new employees for its Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) operations. The added talent is part of DPR Construction’s core strategy to optimize operations and pursue new business opportunities in the DFW area.

“We are excited about expanding our capabilities to meet the needs of customers in the DFW region,” said David Boroughs from DPR’s Texas Management Team. “As a leading builder of data centers, healthcare facilities and projects for life sciences companies, the DFW market is a great fit for our targeted expertise. Our new employees will bring a wealth of talent to our team and help us continue to build great things, including a great operation in North Texas.”

New Hires:

Peter Read
Peter Read will be working on business development in the DFW area. Peter has been a North Texas Business Developer for more than 18 years and has been involved with prominent projects in the DFW area throughout his career. He is a 2004 graduate of Leadership Dallas. He has served on the Board of Director’s for the Health Industry Council and is actively involved with the Real Estate Council.

Jeff Parsons
Jeff Parsons will join DPR as a project executive. Jeff comes to DPR with 23 years of experience in the construction industry. Prior to joining DPR Construction, he was an integral team member on many iconic projects in the Dallas area such as the Perot Museum, the Gaylord Texan Resort, the Omni Dallas Convention Center Hotel and One Arts Plaza. He recently served on the Real Estate Council Foundation Board and chaired its Professional Services Committee.

Dan Hansen
Long-time Fort Worth builder Dan Hansen joins DPR as a project executive focused on the Fort Worth market. Dan brings 21 years of healthcare construction experience to the DPR team. Hansen is also heavily involved in the Tarrant County community; he currently chairs the Campfire First Texas Construction Committee, serves on the Fort Worth Promotions and Development Fund Board of Directors, served on the Board of Directors for the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce, and chaired the Texas Health Resource Foundation Annual Golf Tournament.

Roel Aguilar
Roel Aguilar will join DPR as a preconstruction manager. Roel, a seasoned preconstruction manager, has spent his career working in Dallas. He has successfully led preconstruction teams in the healthcare, hospitality, corporate office and life-science markets.

Some of DPR’s current notable projects in Texas include Digital Realty Data Center; Nephrology Clinic replacement in Dallas for Children’s Medical Center of Dallas; new Dormitories for Texas College in Tyler, Texas; the JW Marriott hotel in Austin for White Lodging Services, Inc.; North Austin Medical Center additions and renovations in Austin for HCA and St. David’s Healthcare Systems.
