Biopharmaceutical Industry Veteran Joins DPR Construction, Inc.

DPR Construction, Inc., one of the nation’s leading technical builders and ranked the third largest pharmaceutical contractor in the nation by ENR magazine, announces the addition of industry veteran Michael Lynch to lead DPR’s National Biopharmaceutical Core Market Group. In his new role, Lynch is working with members from DPR offices across the country to enhance overall customer service, analyzing industry trends and the needs of potential and existing biopharmaceutical customers, which include such industry leaders as Bayer, Amgen, Genentech, Roche Molecular Systems, The Scripps Research Institute and United Therapeutics.

“This is a noble business,” said Lynch, who is passionate about the cures discovered and medicines produced in the facilities built by DPR. “The customers we have the opportunity to work with touch the lives of millions of people every day, delivering hope and promise. It’s rewarding to be a part of that process, and like them, we want to do everything we can to deliver the highest quality end products for our customers.”

Lynch, who has more than 40 years’ experience in mechanical engineering, comes to DPR from Kinetics Systems, Inc., the world’s leading provider of process and mechanical solutions. At Kinetics, Lynch most recently was the executive vice president of marketing and business development of the company’s pharmaceutical division before joining DPR.

“Having someone with Mike’s integrity, passion and depth of experience leading this important industry group will go a long way in helping DPR provide even better service to our biopharm customers around the country,” said Doug Woods, co-founder and the “D” in DPR. DPR currently has more than $780 million worth of biopharmaceutical projects either in preconstruction or construction.
