With every new year comes an opportunity to reflect, reset and renew our focus on what matters most: the health, safety and wellbeing of our people, customers and projects.
Over the past year we’ve grown as a family of companies with nearly 10,000 employees worldwide and an integrated collection of products and services to build smarter, move faster, and achieve more predictable outcomes and great results. Together, we leverage our shared builder skillset and mindset to transform the industry through innovations and a design-to-build approach that supports virtual design and construction, prefabrication, self-perform work, and our ability to better leverage data throughout the project lifecycle.
On a larger scale, in 2021 we gathered with other general contractors, suppliers and sub-contractors to start cultivating a more diverse and inclusive industry with the first-ever Construction Inclusion Week. As we build on last year’s momentum and look forward to chairing this year’s event in October, we remain committed to creating a workplace where everyone can bring their authentic selves. That’s because we believe inclusivity translates to safety, both physically and mentally, and facilitates collaborative project delivery.
There’s so much to be proud of, especially all of you: our employees, families, partners, customers and communities who make it all possible even during the most challenging times. Thank you for joining us on our journey, continuing to engage and being open to diverse perspectives, ideas and approaches. The stories in this issue reflect what’s possible when we shift our thinking and embrace that ever forward mentality—we become better builders and grow a family that is built to last.
Enjoy.
