Ultimate Question to Customers

How likely, on a scale of 1 to 10, are you to recommend DPR to a friend? “We have added that question to our Customer Surveys this year to allow us to better track and quickly address customer concerns” said Eric Lamb, a member of DPR’s Management Committee. According to Lamb, GE uses the same question to quickly understand where they have issues and where they have highly satisfied customers. “Our customer surveys also breakdown the project into specific categories, such as quality, change management, cost control, responsiveness and safety, and allow us to really determine those specific areas to improve our performance.” So far this year, DPR has completed 65 Customer Satisfaction Surveys, and DPR teams have achieved an overall “promoter” score of 8.49, indicating a high level of customer satisfaction. “We are very happy about our score and hope to continue to use this data to compare regions, address issues when they arise, and determine who are our most satisfied customers,” said Lamb.

Honoring Collaboration

Camino Medical Group celebrated a “one-two” success as its new Mountain View, CA campus project came to a close. Before the cleaning crew was finished tidying up after the April 18th dedication ceremony for the new 250,000-sq.-ft. outpatient medical facility, the project received the AIA San Francisco Integrated Practice “Honor” award. Architect, Hawley Peterson Snyder, and general contractor, DPR, were joint recipients of this new award for projects exemplifying an integrated design/construction team approach utilizing emerging technologies to improve project delivery. The facility and adjacent parking structure were constructed using collaborative virtual building tools and technology.
