As 2010 comes to a close, DPR regions across the country are presenting their nominations of local organizations to the DPR Foundation. Last year, the DPR Foundation, which is committed to helping children challenged by their socio-economic circumstances, pledged a total of $305,000 to 10 organizations. Charities currently being supported include: The Roberts Family Foundation, Boys and Girls Club of Brookhaven, Maryland Multicultural Youth Center, Turning Wheels for Kids, Peninsula Bridge, Kidspace Children’s Museum, CapCityKids, Polinsky Children’s Center, Teach for America and Seven Tepees Youth Program.

Along with financial assistance in the form of grants ranging from $20,000 to $40,000, the DPR Foundation seeks out organizations that can benefit from the interaction of DPR employees.
