Ann‑Maree Harrison works closely with leaders and teams to advance people strategies during a time of rapid growth and enterprise-wide transformation. As the Central Region People Practices Leader, she leads initiatives that elevate the employee experience while supporting DPR’s entrepreneurial culture and long-term business goals. Her focus is on building people practices that are human-centered, influential, and progressive, creating lasting value for employees, their families, and the communities DPR serves.

Ann-Maree brings more than a decade of experience across nonprofit, construction, and corporate environments, with a career rooted in building strong communities and creating opportunity for others. She began her construction journey at Hilti North America, where she helped establish the company’s first corporate social responsibility strategy and led External Community Affairs across the U.S. and Canada. As that work evolved, Ann-Maree expanded into leadership roles spanning Talent Management and People Analytics, shaping how organizations invest in people, culture, and impact. She joined DPR in September 2025, bringing a deep curiosity, a holistic people-first mindset, and a strong appreciation for DPR’s highly relational and entrepreneurial spirit.

She was drawn to construction by the industry’s ability to create tangible impact—building not only facilities like schools, hospitals, and data centers, but also livelihoods, leadership pathways, and futures. Outside of work, Ann-Maree is a proud mom of three and enjoys traveling and gathering around a crowded dinner table with family and friends.

Fun Facts

  • Favorite DPR Core Value: Ever Forward. I love that it’s a constant reminder about growth, resilience, ownership and momentum.
  • First Job: I worked for Meals On Wheels of Tarrant County, helping build a community of support around neighbors who are aging and experiencing isolation—ensuring they felt seen, connected, and cared for.
  • Most Useful App: My Skylight Calendar App!
  • Desired Superpower: Teleportation so I can see my three children whenever I want!
  • Your Hero: My Maternal Grandmother. Beginning in the 1950s—and for more than three decades—my grandmother, with grit, conviction and an unshakable belief in her own capability, broke glass ceilings and built doors where none existed. She founded her own media company and led it as CEO, not just as a title, but as a testament to the legacy she created. She showed me that courage is quiet, leadership is earned, and limits are often just assumptions waiting to be challenged. Her life wasn’t just extraordinary because of what she achieved. It was extraordinary because of the barriers she dismantled for those who came after her.
  • Best Vacation Spot: Burgau (Algarve Coast), Portugal
  • Pet Peeve: The lack of curiosity
  • Favorite Subject in School: English
  • Word to the Wise (Advice): Stay gritty enough to weather setbacks and curious enough to question your own assumptions. Grit keeps you steady; curiosity keeps you growing. You need both.
