GPLA, a part of the DPR family of companies, is seeking a Structural Engineer to play a vital role within our team, and be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of engineering projects. As an expert in the field, you will lead and guide the engineering team, ensuring the highest standards of design, analysis, and compliance with industry regulations. You will establish and implement engineering procedures, drive technological advancements, and provide technical expertise to resolve complex issues. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will optimize engineering processes, promote innovation, and enhance project efficiency. • Technical Oversight: Provide guidance to the engineering team, ensuring

• Master’s degree in structural engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Prior experience in a leadership or management role, overseeing a team of engineers, is
highly desirable. This experience should involve assigning tasks, providing guidance,
managing project deliverables, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies, such as creating project plans,
managing budgets, and coordinating project activities, is beneficial.
• In-depth knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and industry standards relevant
to structural engineering is necessary to ensure compliance and successful project
• Strong proficiency with Tekla, AutoCAD, Revit, SAP2000, ETABS, and/or STAAD.Pro.
• A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development. This can involve
attending workshops, seminars, and industry conferences to stay updated with the latest
advancements and best practices.
• 8-12 years of experience depending on the complexity and scale of projects.
This experience should encompass various aspects of engineering design, analysis,
project management, and team leadership.
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
