This position located in our Reston VA Regional Office and part of the Data and Development Team.
The position will be responsible for Data Modeling, Physical Database Design and Development in
SQL, PL/SQL Programming, Performance Tuning, Testing and Deployment of applications in Oracle
11g/10g and for supporting existing applications in Oracle in their modifications / enhancements.
Support and maintain the ERP Enterprise Application.
Creating scripts to generate the data for reports developed in Oracle reports as per user
Creating Oracle Database objects based on the new requirement (Tables, Indexes, views,
partitions, constraints, triggers etc.,)
Writing SQL, PL/SQL programs, Packages, Stored procedures, Functions and Triggers to automate
the interface processes for daily/incremental loads.
Responsible for preparing the migration and deployments scripts for UAT as well as
Coordinating with ERP Application support and application team for issues and concerns.
Experience in Database Design, Database programming, SQL and Database Tuning and
Performance Tuning, Trouble shooting, maintenance.
Creating jobs and schedules them to run on the specific times, Setting up email notifications
for failure and other events.
Develop Complex forms/ reports using DEVELOPER 2000 (Forms 11g, Reports 11g) for the
Write high quality and well-documented code according to accepted standards based on user
requirements using PL/SQL, Java, Oracle Forms/Reports, ADF Framework.
Extensively used SQL joins, Oracle Analytic and Grouping functions for data analysis.
Requirements gathering from Specs, Users/PM’s and documentation, data cleansing and
extraction, report design, testing and implementation over the production.
Making sure all the batch job/s are working with no issues as data and performance wise and
available for the business.
Test and debug program units in conjunction with other units and/or systems
Work collaboratively in a small, cross-functional team.
Analyze, prioritize, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues.
Actively participates in the on-going development, maintenance and improvement of a
comprehensive Knowledge Base/FAQ repository
Takes the initiative to work with other cross functional teams to solve business problems.
Provides training for relevant DPR solutions and technologies
Participates in the research of new technologies in a QA environment, as time and

Qualified applicants should have a BS in Computer Science/Information technology or related
3 to 5 years hands-on professional programming experience using the following – SQL, PL/SQL,
Java, iReports, JasperServer , Oracle Reports, Crystal Reports .
Strong PL/SQL background.
Experience working with Environment: SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle 11g, Developer 2000( Reports 11g,
Forms 11g), ADF Forms, SQL*Loader, Toad 10.5, SQL Navigator V5.5,Oracle SQL developer V3.0, Oracle
Discover 11g, Erwin, Power builder, Java.
Expert understanding of Oracle ADF framework, ADF Model, UI, and Controller
Experience educating/training a programming team in Oracle/ADF is a plus
Expert understanding of Application servers (JBoss, IBM WebSphere, Oracle Weblogic)
Strong background with SQL, Views, Stored Procedures, Databases
