This office expansion was driven by the need to create a modern, functional workspace that could support the client’s operational and technological demands. The inclusion of features such as spacious lounge and pantry areas, executive offices, open workspaces and advanced boardrooms reflects a focus on fostering collaboration, productivity and employee well-being. The installation of energy-efficient VRF HVAC systems, redundant telecommunications, state-of-the-art AV systems and high-security access control and CCTV highlights the client’s commitment to sustainability, reliability and security.
This project was constructed in a new Class-A high rise core and shell office building in the heart of Miami’s financial district. DPR worked alongside the base building construction team as the core and shell were completed, as well as other tenant contractors working in the building on other floors.
Technology
DPR utilized the “Light YX” system that allowed the team to lay out the floors in an expedited manner. This technology allows the CAD plans to be uploaded and uses lasers to project the layout across the floor. DPR's framing team was able very quickly to verify dimensions and apply their chalk lines on top of the laser lines.
