Boca Raton, FL
The DPR team in South Florida celebrated the topping out of the new proton therapy treatment facility at Baptist Health's Eugene M. and Christine E. Lynn Cancer Institute at Boca Raton Regional Hospital. Once complete, the facility will feature the most advanced form of radiation therapy by using high-energy protons to treat tumors in cancer patients.
Denver, CO
GE Johnson is now officially operating under the DPR Construction brand. This integration reflects the alignment of both organizations to deliver enhanced capabilities and resources in the Mountain States.
Los Angeles, CA
DPR recently broke ground on a major expansion of Takeda's Los Angeles manufacturing facility. The facility will produce plasma-derived therapies that tackle rare, chronic and genetic diseases. It's Takeda's largest capacity fractionation site globally. The expansion will repurpose an existing building and infrastructure to increase production capacity by up to 2 million liters per year. It is expected to create more than 125 new jobs.
Mesa, AZ
DPR celebrated the ribbon cutting of the state-of-the-art Banner Children’s Blood and Cancer Center. This facility is equipped with advanced medical technology that will provide comprehensive care for children and young adults with blood disorders or cancer. DPR renovated an existing space to accommodate these additional services, which includes five exam rooms, four private infusion rooms, two infusion bays and dedicated space for patients and their families.
Raleigh-Durham, NC
United Therapeutics' Phase 5 cGMP Warehouse, a design-build facility, earned an Honorable Mention in the 2024 International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE) Facility of the Year Award, the only U.S.-based company to be recognized in this year's awards. Additionally, the facility also received I2SL's Sustainable Laboratory Award’s Excellence in Resilience & Renewable Energy.
Rocklin, CA
DPR, along with strategic coordination and planning with partners EIG and GPLA, successfully completed 121,000 sq. ft. concrete mat pour at Sierra College for a residence hall. Coordination with the owners and strategic partners was key, as the pours took place in the middle of the night. The new facility will provide affordable housing for more than 350 students and advisors.
San Francisco, CA
The Golden State Warriors, DPR and Gensler are putting the final touches on Splash at Thrive City, the new 30,000-sq.-ft. addition to the team's home that is set to open in early 2025. With four bars, over 75 televisions, including an 840-sq.-ft. curved LED video wall and multiple indoor and outdoor areas, Splash at Thrive City is an entertainment destination and the must-visit venue for the Bay Area’s sports and social scene.
Seattle, WA
Swedish Health Services, DPR and Perkins & Will celebrated the ribbon cutting for the Paul G. Allen Research Center. Designed and built to transform cancer treatment, this 10,000-sq.-ft. state-of-the-art facility provides advanced analytics for specimens and data, while bringing together a broad range of clinical, biologic and computer scientists. The project includes physical wet and dry lab spaces to support a multidisciplinary research team comprised of a network of academic and industry collaborators to combine emerging advances in biomedical sciences, technology, and computer science.
Springfield, VA
With design partners Ballinger and Ennead Architects, local officials, and community members, DPR broke ground on the new Inova Franconia-Springfield Hospital. This 110-bed facility will be equipped with advanced emergency care, surgical services, and specialized inpatient care, along with a focus on community health and wellness.
Worcester, MA
The administration building for Saint-Gobain’s flagship abrasives manufacturing campus has broken ground. This design-build project made a commitment to hire local residents and create workforce opportunities for the community. The groundbreaking was celebrated by DPR, Saint-Gobain, Pure Development and CSO Architects to bring this vision to life.
