The Big Picture
Located at 16th Street and Wewatta in the heart of downtown Denver, this mixed-use development includes a 200-room boutique hotel, 20,000 sq. ft. of retail space, and a 12-story tower that houses a multi-level parking garage. It also includes 54,000 sq. ft. of Class A office space, 13,900 sq. ft. of meeting space, and a 1,100-sq.-ft. fitness center. The unique, ultra-modern exterior and beautifully crafted interior communicate a sense of luxury and comfort. Connected to the Denver RTD light rail system and close to the 16th Street Mall, the Born provides guests with a convenient, central base from which to explore the city.

The project team consistently took pre-pour photos. These were organized in the online project folder to reference throughout construction and accelerated adaption to design changes.

- Exposed concrete ceilings accentuate the building’s sophisticated urban feel.
- Intentionally uneven window placement gives the building an artistic, modern appearance that fits well with the interior; original art can be found throughout the building.
