This technical project for a confidential pharmaceutical company involved the replacement of existing standard fume hoods with new walk-in fume hoods within a first floor lab that remained fully operational during the course of construction.

Details
The project required the demolition of four existing benchtop fume hoods, their associated benches and utilities, followed by the installation of six new walk-in fume hoods with their respective utilities. All work was completed off-hours and in tight quarters, only three-feet from the fume hoods to active lab benches. Due to this proximity, DPR setup and broke down containment protection each day to maintain a safe environment for the scientists to be able continue their research without interruption.
