This project consisted of 172,000 sq. ft. of improvements to the existing, operational 430,000-sq.-ft. two-story lab/manufacturing building at Campus Pointe. The scope included partial demolition of the existing structure, a 140,000-sq.-ft. re-skin, a new 20,000-sq.-ft. high-end conference center and eatery, and a new 12,000-sq.-ft. subterranean fitness center. These new facilities are for shared use by the mutli-tenant campus.
The fitness center features a spa room and steam showers, and the conference center, which is above the eatery, is comprised of open office areas and multi-functional training rooms. Designed to bring employees together, the eatery offers full dining and serving areas, a pizzeria, a juice and coffee bar, and a lounge area with a fireplace and games.
The below grade portion of the building features a green roof, and the facility achieved LEED Platinum.
