How can self-performing GCs create a better experience for workers?
Chris: I think our labor shortage is real in our industry. It's been well documented for a number of years. Part of the responsibility of contractors in our industry is to bring folks into the trade, is to bring folks into construction. And you want to do that in a way that makes it appealing to the worker. I think that's going to be key moving forward. And I think general contractors that self-perform, that can provide that appeal to the workers, that can provide that great career to those workers, is going to make the difference in the future. And I think that that's something that the industry needs to take note of.
