Stacee Barkley helps shape DPR’s culture by building systems that support belonging, openness and shared purpose. In her role as Global Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Leader, she partners across teams to create an environment where people feel valued, can show up fully and do their best work together.

Her focus on creating meaningful impact ultimately led her to DPR. Her path into construction was unconventional, shaped by a willingness to take risks and a commitment to helping others grow. What drew her in was DPR’s people-first mindset and the opportunity to build something lasting—not just through projects, but through culture.

Empowering others to thrive is what motivates her most. Each day brings a chance to model openness and encourage others to do the same. Known for her strategic lens and steady presence, Stacee works across the organization to break down barriers and ensure DPR’s values are lived, not just stated.

Outside of work, Stacee enjoys traveling with her husband of 30 years, especially to places where they can connect with new people and experience different cultures and cuisines.

• What You Love About Construction: That it exists all around us, from the most remote locations to the largest cities. There is something created by hands and hearts that serve communities big and small.
• Your Hero: My grandmother. My husband is the love of my life, but my grandmother is the center of my universe.
• Word To the Wise (Advice): Anne Frank said, "... how wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world.” So, my advice is to be curious about the world, listen more about others, talk less about yourself and don’t wait another moment.
