With more than 20 years of building expertise, Kevin Kramer skillfully melds strategic planning and operational management to achieve company objectives while creating an environment that ensures customers’ goals are consistently exceeded or met. Kevin, who serves as the Business Unit Leader in Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW), values hard work, collaboration, listening before speaking, adapting, and finding common ground among team members so every project DPR builds in the DFW area has a great outcome.

Growing up on a farm in Indiana, Kevin was more interested in the large equipment, farming implements, and working with his hands than tending to the animals. He also loved playing sports. When it came time to leave the farm, he decided to pursue a construction management degree at Purdue University, because it combined the team camaraderie from sports with the hands-on skills he learned on the farm. Construction proved to be a perfect fit. And, after 13 years in the industry, Kevin joined DPR in 2015 and has been responsible for several large-scale commercial and data center projects, including 23 Springs, The Union Dallas, JW Marriott Dallas Arts District, and Equinix Data Center. In 2019, Kevin expanded his leadership responsibilities to serve as the Commercial Core Market Leader in DFW before transitioning into his current DFW Business Unit Leader role.

Kevin loves that construction combines leadership, planning and creativity with the satisfaction of producing tangible results, while diverse tasks make every day unique and exciting. His love of sports fuels his sense of competition, but it’s his team spirit that really shines through. Over the years, he’s learned to be accessible and open with his teammates, helping to create a winning attitude.

When he’s not working, Kevin enjoys listening to podcasts and music, and he finds inspiration watching his daughter dance ballet and his son compete in sports.
