Jody Quinton is excited by the possibilities in the European construction market. Serving as the Business Unit Leader in Europe, she brings a growth mindset of combining the culture and best practices from the U.S. with those of Europe to move DPR ever forward. With operations focused on Frankfurt, Germany, and Zurich, Switzerland, and a supporting office in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, Jody supports the business unit through consistent communication and operational expertise. She focuses on growing and fostering dynamic teams and building great things for our valued customers in the advanced technology, life sciences and corporate office markets.
After graduating from the University of Illinois with a degree in Civil Engineering, Jody began her career in Southern California. There she gained hands-on project management experience, including an impactful learning opportunity as an assistant superintendent on a 28-story high-rise in downtown Los Angeles. After moving to the Bay Area to join DPR in 1997, she discovered her passion for building high-caliber teams. Jody served as Regional Manager of the Redwood City office, then as the Northwest Region Leader before embarking on her current role. As a member of the Leadership Team from 2015 through 2024, Jody sponsored Global Social Responsibility (GSR) and the Ethics, Integrity and Compliance Team. Recognized throughout the years for her leadership in the construction industry, Jody was most recently honored with a Distinguished Alumna Award from The University of Illinois Civil and Environmental Engineering Alumni Association.
Jody embraces the servant-leader model and works to help our teams and customers be successful. “I value our people and want them to enjoy coming to work every day and feel like they’re fulfilled as they work towards their goals.” By paying attention to details, listening and observing, Jody helps bring people together, strengthening teams by empowering individuals to be their full, authentic selves. As one of the most tenured women in operations, Jody feels it’s, “a privilege to show that a woman can be successful in this business and have a happy, healthy family.” Work-life integration is important, and Jody demonstrates that we care about people’s health and mental well-being.
Jody likes to travel, loves the outdoors and enjoys physical activities like hiking, walking, strength training and cycling. She’s excited about living in Zurich and getting to explore other areas on weekends.
I feel as if I have found my calling at DPR. The integrity of the organization, and the collaborative team atmosphere in which we approach everything that we do, speaks to me and who I am.
