Hannu Lindberg

Hannu Lindberg helps guide DPR’s construction technology strategy, focusing on improving how projects are planned, coordinated and delivered. In his role as Project Planning and Execution Technology Leader on the Technology & Innovation team, he supports efforts across Virtual Design and Construction (VDC), preconstruction, scheduling, sustainability and field operations. His goal is to make project delivery smarter, faster and more efficient through practical, user-focused technology solutions.

With two decades of experience, Hannu brings deep expertise in construction operations and enterprise technology implementation. Prior to rejoining DPR, he led the VDC team within the Practice Technology Studio at Walt Disney Imagineering. He also serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for Building Transformations, a nonprofit advancing digital innovation in the built environment.

Originally from Finland, Hannu discovered his passion for construction technology during college while experimenting with early tools like AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, and 4D modeling techniques. He began his career as an assistant superintendent in Helsinki, gaining hands-on experience in the field and a deep appreciation for how things are built.

At DPR, Hannu is driven by a commitment to continuous improvement and creating more time for people, whether by streamlining field team workflows or enhancing preconstruction planning tools. He believes strong relationships are the foundation of successful projects and is inspired by DPR’s culture of collaboration.

Outside of work, Hannu enjoys traveling with his wife, golfing with his sons and spending time with the family dogs.
