Internship Overview
Overview

What You Will Do

You will work in the job trailer, side by side with a project team building a major commercial construction project.

What You Will Learn

You will learn about managing a multi-million-dollar project, the innovative technology used for planning, scheduling and design, and the wide range of professional roles needed to build great things.

I have grown into becoming a more efficient PE intern. I was able to gain knowledge of the field by walking with people on the job, in the trades, etc. I would say that I did a little bit of everything including traveling and visiting other jobsites, helping with internal QC, document control, owner reports, meeting minutes, site logistics, and more.

There were definitely challenges such as getting started and finding the courage to ask questions, however for the most part the internship was a great learning opportunity. I learned many communication skills, safety procedures, and software controls that will be very useful in my future endeavors.
