Fourth Consecutive Year National Builder Makes List; Ranking a Testament to DPR’s Culture of Shared Value

The annual FORTUNE survey conducted with the Great Place to Work© Institute is the most extensive employee survey in corporate America, polling employees from companies nationwide about their company culture, credibility of management, individual respect, fairness, job satisfaction and camaraderie. The employee survey results accounted for two-thirds of DPR’s score. The other third was based on responses to the Institute’s Culture Audit, which included detailed questions regarding pay and benefit programs, as well as open-ended questions about hiring, communication, training and diversity.
“The work environment is not restrictive or burdened with hierarchy. It naturally evokes a culture of ‘just do it’ and you can clearly feel no one is holding you back in reaching your potential,” said one employee during DPR’s annual Employee Satisfaction Survey (ESS), which maintains employee anonymity and is conducted by a third party. In 2012, more than 83 percent of all employees participated and DPR received a 92 percent favorable performance rate.
