By performing fundamental scopes of work, such as foundations, drywall and carpentry, we are able to offer you more control, as well as set the tone and pace of the project, through:

  • Budget improvements due to enhanced productivity of our crews and contractual arrangements, such as cost of work basis and return savings to owners.

  • Increased safety, having our own crews working onsite helps set a good example for other subcontractors and provides a clear picture of DPR's high expectations when in comes to safety and quality on your project.

While we believe strongly in the benefits of self-perform work for our customers, we always remain flexible and committed to doing what is best for you and your project. Therefore, it is critical that before we proceed you are confident that the ultimate cost of the work we self perform will be at or below the competitive market price. We offer several options for you to validate or substantiate our estimates.

The DPR Self-Perform Advantage

Each DPR region may self perform some or all of the following trades:

  • Concrete, including structural concrete work such as foundations, slabs, and horizontal and vertical concrete, as well as tilt-up construction
  • Drywall and taping
  • Doors, Frames and Hardware

Additionally, we typically self perform rough carpentry, light demolition and clean up, and in some instances, we have performed other trades, such as acoustical ceiling work.
