Nick Ertmer

Helping to lead the Southeast Region, Nick Ertmer got his start in construction at age 13, when several of his neighbors in a small town in Illinois hired him to build their decks, retaining walls, and patios. After earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Southern California, Nick became a captain in the United States Air Force where, among other things, he served as the chief of maintenance engineering at Beale Air Force Base. Since joining DPR in 2006, Nick has led multiple projects in higher education, advanced technology and life science markets. Nick is a registered professional engineer, and in his free time he enjoys snowboarding, hiking, wood working and home renovation projects.
