Office Highlights

Consistently one of San Diego's top-ranked builders, according to the local business journal, and Ranked #1 Best Place to Work, DPR's San Diego office feels more like an inviting close-knit community. When you walk through the doors, you instantly become part of the family drawn to the four surf boards in the lobby, each one selected as a representation of one of our four core values. The office, with conference rooms named after different local surf spots, is made up of some of the best technical builders in San Diego, who focus on projects of all sizes and levels of complexity for world-class customers.

Office News:

Green Features

DPR's commitment to an open-office environment, where there are no private offices and open work spaces for everyone, is now supported by an office that is literally open to the environment. DPR's new San Diego office, targeting LEED for New Construction Platinum certification, features work stations with operable windows, skylights and glass garage doors--all designed to bring the outside in.

With the goal of net zero energy usage, the San Diego office also includes a host of additional green features:

  • 64 kW photovoltaic system, selected to generate enough power to offset the building's annual energy consumption.
  • Preferred parking for fuel efficient vehicles.
  • Energy Star roof.
  • Low-flow plumbing fixtures that decrease water usage by 51 percent.
  • Modified irrigation system to reduce landscape water usage by 60 percent.
  • High recycled content materials, including Forest Stewardship Council wood, carpet, tile and drywall.
  • No or low volatile organic compound (VOC) materials, such as paints, coatings, composite woods, sealants, adhesives and caulking.

DPR also reused many materials from its previous office and the existing building, including 40 work stations and casework. For more information, view our office's Digital Dashboard on line at: http://www.buildingdashboard.com/clients/dpr/sandiego/
